As Cluster Event Sales Coordinator, you will drive and develop event and group sales for two 25hours hotels in Copenhagen, from initial enquiry to executed event. You will own the planning and coordination of conferences, events, and group stays, acting as the primary client contact and working strategically on upselling and revenue maximization. You will also support reservations when needed and contribute to the department's commercial goals.

Responsibilities

  • Drive and develop event and group sales - from initial enquiry to executed event, including needs assessment, proposal preparation, contract negotiation, and follow-up.
  • Own the planning and coordination of conferences, events, and group stays, ensuring clear internal communication and seamless execution in close collaboration with restaurant, kitchen, and front office.
  • Act as the primary contact for clients before, during, and after the event, delivering a professional, personal, and commercially strong customer experience.
  • Work strategically with upselling and proactively maximizing revenue through meeting packages, rooms, and F&B while identifying new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships, with returning corporate clients, brand ambassadors, and strategic partners.
  • Monitor performance and quality - including lead tracking in Delphi, invoice checks, feedback follow-up, and contributing to market and competitor analysis.
  • Contribute to the department’s overall commercial goals. participating in sales activities, site inspections, internal meetings, and strategic discussions.
  • Support reservations when needed, handling group and individual booking enquiries, amendments, and arrival checks in a department where we collaborate closely and take shared responsibility.

Requirements

  • You communicate fluently in both Danish and English, verbally and in writing.
  • You are commercially minded and motivated by building relationships and closing deals.
  • You thrive in a dynamic environment where you manage multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
  • You take ownership and naturally drive processes forward – from first enquiry to final follow-up.
  • You are structured and organized, yet flexible when plans change.
  • You enjoy working independently while being part of a close-knit team that supports one another across functions.
  • You have a strong service mindset and understand how to balance guest experience with commercial results.
  • You are proactive, solution-oriented, and comfortable taking initiative in both sales and operational support.
