As an Events Operations Waiter at Lotti's, you will ensure the smooth running of the apartment, handle guest requests, and manage on-the-day catering arrangements. You'll be the gatekeeper for meeting room logistics, maintaining room setups, overseeing food and beverage, and coordinating with the hotel team to deliver a great guest experience. This role involves some administrative tasks and requires comfort with technology.
Responsibilities
- You’re our gatekeeper for our meeting room logistics. You know who’s who and what’s what.
- Maintain the meeting room area, ensuring all rooms are set up correctly and kept tidy at all time.
- You keep on top of our meeting room maintenance and ensuring all the rooms are set up correctly, ensuring billing and checking in and out for events are smooth.
- You make sure the food and beverage in the space is top notch at all times, and our guests have everything they need.
- You work closely with the rest of the hotel team to ensure you are providing a great experience for our guests, from first contact to when they leave, and beyond.
- And yes, there’s a little admin... Some expenses, some lists and a stationary order or two. But let’s face it, we know you love that!
- Tech? No issue. You know your HDMI from your USB and your Mac from a PC. Or, if you’re a technophobe (like some of us!) you’re willing to sink your teeth in and learn the ropes. It is the 21st century after all…
Requirements
- Individuals. You’re looking for a place where you can be you; no clones in suits here.
- Passion for hospitality – whether that’s a drink, a meal, an event or a bed for the night.
- You’re all about having a positive impact on the people you interact with, leaving them with a memorable experience.
- You’re not precious. We leave our egos at the door and help get things done.
- You’re up for doing things differently and trying (almost) everything once.
- If we got stuck in a lift together we’d have a good time and share a few laughs.
- You want to be part of a team that works hard, supports each other and has fun along the way.
- You are scarily organised, have the ability to multi-task and spin a million plates in the air at one time, prioritise and re-prioritise as things come in.
- Nothing is an issue for you - you know what our guests want even before they do.
- Someone who’s great at growing and nurturing long lasting relationships; people are naturally drawn to working with you.
- You pay attention to the details and care about creating great work.
