The Special Events Senior Consultant plans, manages, and implements all aspects of in-house meetings, conferences, and events assigned by senior management and leadership, consistent with Allstate Canada's corporate objectives and procedures. The role may include leading a meeting support/conference planning team, maintaining accurate budget reports, reconciliation, post-event follow-up, and analyzing outcomes to determine effectiveness. This position is hybrid, requiring attendance at the Toronto office based on business need.

Responsibilities

  • Research, recommend, and develop new technologies to enhance the conference planning/meeting support process; include reservation applications and communication technology
  • Assist with project management activities on capital conference space renovations
  • Responsible for the documentation of processes and procedures for special events and high-profile meetings
  • Assist in the creation of all SLA’s and KPI’s and ensure they are met
  • Assists with budget preparation, management, and reconciliation; review billing for accuracy
  • Works with internal and external clients to plan and coordinate events/meeting logistics
  • Review internal processes and recommend strategies to reduce cost and improve efficiencies.

Requirements

  • 4-year bachelor's degree (Preferred)
  • 3 or more years of experience (Preferred)
