We are hiring a Brand Strategy & Events lead to own how Alpaca shows up in the world, from the big moments to the everyday brand. You will shape our voice, look, and story, and you will plan and run standout events end-to-end, from community festivals to clinic grand openings. This is a builder role for someone equally comfortable setting brand direction and taping down extension cords the morning of an event. You will work directly with the founder.

Responsibilities

  • Own the brand
  • Shape and evolve our voice, visual identity, and messaging across every channel
  • Build the guidelines and templates that keep the brand consistent as we scale
  • Make sure everything we put out feels human, trustworthy, and unmistakably Alpaca
  • Own events from concept to load-out: budget, vendors, logistics, run-of-show, staffing, and day-of execution
  • Design events that are genuinely inclusive and sensory-friendly, built with our families in mind
  • Turn clinic openings, festivals, and conferences into moments people remember
  • Lead pre and post-event marketing: invites, social, press outreach, and recap content
  • Land earned media by pitching local press and building relationships with reporters
  • Capture stories and content that keep momentum going long after the event ends
  • Partner with providers, local organizations, and press to grow reach and turnout
  • Represent Alpaca warmly to families, clinicians, and the broader community
  • Create repeatable playbooks so every new market launch gets easier
  • Track what works (turnout, engagement, coverage, leads) and raise the bar each time
  • Spot patterns and opportunities, and take on whatever it takes to ship great work

Requirements

  • You have strong taste and can explain why a brand does or does not work
  • You have personally run real events, not just supported them, and can talk through a plan and a budget
  • You are wildly organized, calm under pressure, and you sweat the small details
  • You write clearly and warmly, and can switch between a press pitch and an Instagram caption
  • You are scrappy and resourceful, and you get more done with less
  • You take ownership, you don’t wait for someone else to fix things

Benefits

  • Direct exposure to company-building at an early stage.
  • Real ownership of the brand and marquee events from day one.
  • The opportunity to materially impact families and clinicians.
  • A fast learning curve that few roles can match.
