Stage Manager (Part-Time)

The Stage Manager at the Los Angeles campus will assist with managing theatre events as assigned, receiving offers on a 'per show' basis. Responsibilities include attending all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances, serving as a liaison between student performers and artistic/production staff, creating and distributing rehearsal and performance reports, and recording blocking and taking notes at production meetings. Most rehearsals are anticipated to be conducted on weeknights, with some weekend days possibly needed during the upcoming spring semester.

Responsibilities

• Attendance is required at all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances
• Liaison between student performers and artistic/production staff
• Create and distribute rehearsal and performance reports
• Record blocking and taking notes at production meetings

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree (minimum) or comparable educational or professional experience
• Minimum 2 year of professional experience in stage management
