The Event Supervisor oversees the execution of events at Apex Entertainment, ensuring smooth operations from guest arrival to final payment. This role manages multiple events simultaneously, leads a team of up to 20 staff, and coordinates with various departments to deliver exceptional service in a fast-paced entertainment environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operations of all scheduled events, including guest check-in, food and beverage service, attraction coordination, and overall event flow.
  • Manage multiple events simultaneously while maintaining exceptional service standards, food quality, safety, and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure all event details are executed according to Apex Entertainment standards, including room setup, décor, food and beverage service, attractions, and guest expectations.
  • Serve as the primary on-site contact for guests and clients throughout their event experience.
  • Proactively identify and resolve challenges to ensure a successful event from start to finish.
  • Handle guest concerns and provide timely, professional solutions.
  • Lead and supervise up to 20 event team members per shift, ensuring exceptional performance and guest service.
  • Provide direction, support, and coaching to event staff throughout each shift.
  • Communicate event details, priorities, and updates with Food & Beverage, Attractions, Events, and Operations teams.
  • Maintain awareness of all events happening throughout the venue to effectively support guests and internal teams.
  • Manage day-of staffing needs, including employee call-outs, schedule adjustments, and operational changes.
  • Maintain accurate Event Orders within the CenterEdge Group POS system and make adjustments as needed.
  • Complete event closeouts and process client payments accurately at the conclusion of each event.
  • Conduct pre-event and post-event evaluations to review execution, guest satisfaction, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Report event outcomes and feedback to the Events & Sales Manager.
  • Complete additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in hospitality, food & beverage, event coordination, or a related field.
  • Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to problem-solve quickly and remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong commitment to providing exceptional guest service.
  • Must have reliable transportation or a valid driver's license.
  • Must have flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events. Weekend availability is required.

Nice to have

  • Previous experience supervising or managing corporate events, private parties, banquets, or special events preferred.
