Student: Athletic Facilities Events Assistant 2026-27

This student position supports the Athletics team by assisting with home games and events. Responsibilities include setting up and tearing down equipment, keeping score or running the game clock, taking tickets, and assisting with in-game operations. The role provides hands-on experience in event operations within a university athletics department.

Responsibilities

• Set up equipment before athletic events
• Tear down and clean up after events
• Keep score or run the game clock
• Take tickets at the door
• Assist with in-game operations (ball chasing for soccer, baseball, softball, and volleyball)

Requirements

• Enrolled as a student at Augsburg University and be work-study eligible
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds
• Willingness to follow detailed instructions
• Reliable and able to work independently

Nice to have

• Proficient in G Suite software services (Gmail, Calendar, Docs, Sheets)
• Interest and/or understanding of athletics operations
• On-campus resident
