The Senior AV Technician will deliver efficient and effective AV technical services to Bay Venues event customers, providing high levels of customer service and working as a team player to deliver high quality AV experiences. The role involves setting up and operating high profile AV events, with an ambition to lead and lift the bar in AV experiences for clients. The position is based at Mercury Baypark in Tauranga, New Zealand, and reports to the AV Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

The purpose of this role is to deliver efficient and effective AV technical services to Bay Venues Event customers. In addition to being competent in AV technical skills, you will also be providing high levels of customer service and be an excellent team player working to deliver high quality AV experiences. An ambition to lead and desire to really lift the bar in terms of AV experiences for our clients.

Requirements

5-years’ experience setting up and operating high profile AV events and as an AV Technician.
High level of technical competency and experience in either Audio, AV, Lighting, LED or Rigging.
Working knowledge of Lighting, Audio, Audio Visual, LED and rigging.
Highly developed and effective customer service skills.
Positive and enthusiastic attitude with a ‘can-do’ approach.
Ability to stay calm and professional in high pressure environments especially those involving high profile events or customers.
New Zealand Drivers Licence
