This role leads the strategy and execution of Bland AI's events, from major industry conferences to intimate dinners and original activations for senior technology leaders. You'll own the entire event lifecycle, including concept development, logistics, staffing, and post-event follow-up, while representing Bland at events across the U.S. The role is highly creative and social, requiring close partnership with Sales to turn events into pipeline and meaningful enterprise relationships.
Responsibilities
- Develop original concepts for events, dinners, experiences, and activations that enterprise technology leaders are genuinely excited to attend.
- Think beyond traditional conference marketing. Find creative ways to make Bland stand out and create moments people want to talk about.
- Identify the conferences and industry events where our highest-value prospects spend their time.
- Own our presence from start to finish—from event selection and strategy to booth concepts, activations, meetings, dinners, staffing, logistics, and post-event follow-up.
- Create intimate, high-quality experiences for CIOs, CTOs, and other senior executives at enterprise companies.
- Develop event concepts, source venues, build guest lists, coordinate speakers and partners, manage invitations, and personally ensure the experience is exceptional.
- Represent Bland at conferences, dinners, private events, and customer experiences across the country.
- Build genuine relationships with executives, prospects, customers, partners, and industry leaders.
- Work closely with our Sales and Marketing teams to identify the accounts and executives we want in the room.
- Turn events into meaningful enterprise relationships and measurable pipeline—not just attendance numbers.
- Obsess over the details.
- Venue. Food. Guest list. Entertainment. Speakers. Branding. Invitations. Gifts. Conversation. Follow-up.
- Everything matters when you're trying to create an experience that people remember.
- Travel frequently across the U.S. to conferences and events.
- Be willing to roll up your sleeves and handle whatever needs to get done—from setting up an activation to hosting a dinner for 20 Fortune 500 executives.
Requirements
- You have exceptional taste and an instinct for what will get people excited.
- You can take a blank page and come up with event concepts that feel fresh, unexpected, and uniquely Bland.
- You're charismatic, warm, and confident around senior executives.
- You can walk into a room of CIOs and CTOs and make meaningful connections without feeling awkward or transactional.
- You don't need someone telling you what to do.
- You see an opportunity, come up with the idea, figure out what needs to happen, and make it happen.
- You care deeply about the details and have a strong point of view on design, hospitality, branding, and experiences.
- You know the difference between something that is merely "good" and something that people will remember.
- Great ideas are useless if they don't get executed.
- You're organized, resourceful, and comfortable managing vendors, budgets, venues, schedules, guest lists, logistics, and dozens of moving pieces at once.
- This role involves significant travel.
- You should genuinely enjoy being on the road, meeting new people, discovering new cities, and operating in constantly changing environments.
- Our events are often attended by executives from some of the largest companies in the world.
- You need to be polished, professional, and comfortable representing Bland in high-stakes environments.
