As Events Manager, you will plan, coordinate and deliver a diverse programme of internal and external events each year. You will manage the full event lifecycle from concept and planning through to delivery and evaluation, working with stakeholders, suppliers and internal teams to ensure events are delivered to a high standard, on time and within budget. The role sits within the Marketing department and supports business objectives, customer engagement and brand awareness.
Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering an annual events programme aligned to marketing and commercial objectives, working with stakeholders to create events that strengthen brand awareness, engagement and business growth.
- Leading the end-to-end planning and delivery of internal and external events, managing timelines, logistics, suppliers, venues and on-site execution to ensure successful, compliant and high-quality experiences.
- Managing event budgets, monitoring expenditure and negotiating with suppliers to deliver cost-effective events while maximising value and return on investment.
- Building strong relationships with internal teams, external suppliers, sponsors and partners to ensure collaborative planning and seamless event delivery.
- Working closely with the marketing team to promote events through integrated campaigns, ensuring consistent branding and effective management of registrations, communications and attendee experiences.
- Measuring event performance against agreed objectives, producing post-event reports and using insights and feedback to continuously improve future events.
Requirements
- Project management and organisational skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving capability.
- Experience using event management or CRM platforms (e.g., Cvent or Eventbrite).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and presentation tools.
Nice to have
- Experience in B2B and B2C event marketing.
- Knowledge of digital marketing and lead nurturing processes.
- Experience managing exhibition stands or large-scale conferences.
- Understanding of brand and creative production processes.
