Sugarloaf Race and On-Snow Event Crew

The Race and On-Snow Event Crew at Sugarloaf is responsible for setting up, running, and tearing down all alpine, snowboard, and freestyle competitions and events on the mountain. The role involves maintaining equipment, keeping competition department buildings clean, and ensuring safe, professional, and fair events for all competitors. This full-time seasonal position requires working outdoors all day and skiing or riding on all mountain trails in all conditions.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and tear down events
• Maintain and keep track of equipment
• Assist in keeping competition department buildings clean
• Provide safe, professional, and fair events for all competitors

Requirements

• Must be able to ski or ride all trails in all conditions
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be able to ski or ride carrying 25 – 35 pounds of equipment down trails to event sites
• Some event experience is helpful, willingness to learn is a must
