Special Events Coordinator - Full Time (Harrah's Laughlin)

The Events & Promotions Coordinator at Harrah's & Tropicana Laughlin is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing events and promotions across the property. This role blends creativity with operational precision, requiring a guest-focused individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The coordinator will assist customers, collaborate with other departments, and emcee events using a microphone. This is a dual property role, working at both Tropicana and Harrah's Laughlin.

Responsibilities

• Ability to plan, coordinate and execute events and promotions
• Provide assistance to customers in a friendly and efficient manner
• Ability to work well with other departments to ensure events and promotions are carried out successfully
• Ability to work on one or more event(s)/promotion(s) at a time
• Prioritize tasks and use time effectively
• Accurately file events and promotion collateral
• Must be able to speak in front of crowds and use microphone to emcee events and promotions
• Must be able to meet the attendance guidelines of the job and adhere to departmental and company policies
• Performs related duties as needed

Requirements

• A team player with a positive attitude and a passion for guest service
• Must be able to work flexible hours and days
• Requires strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office"
• Must be 21years of age
• This is a dual property role and will work at Tropicana & Harrah’s Laughlin
• Must have or be able to obtain Nevada Gaming
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English with guests and team members
