The National Sales Manager focuses on building long-term relationships with customers, maximizing hotel/conference usage, and producing revenue from corporate and social events to meet sales goals. Reporting to the Director of Sales, this role involves booking group business, evaluating market trends, soliciting new business, conducting sales calls, negotiating pricing, and collaborating with conference services and front office to ensure contract details are delivered. The manager also presents sales reports and plans to the Director of Sales.
Responsibilities
- 1. You will book group business to include guest rooms, conference space, and other casino amenities in assigned territory.
- 2. Evaluate market/economic trends and introduce appropriate changes in strategy to exceed personal sales goals.
- 3. You will identify and solicit new business for property through networking with local business and community agencies.
- 4. Participate in tradeshows within the hotel and trade related organizations and showcase the property to prospective clients.
- 5. You will conduct sales calls, build rapport and maintain existing business relationships to acquire new business.
- 6. Maintain accounts, contacts, activity, and business details within the appropriate software applications.
- 7. You will negotiate pricing for efficient cost controls.
- 8. Collaborate with conference services and the front office to ensure all details of the contract are delivered.
- 9. You will present weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and plans of current and projected sales to Director of Sales, to ensure the achievement of the sales objectives.
- 10. Perform other duties as may be assigned.

Requirements
- · Bachelor’s degree or four years directly related experience.
- · Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
- · Working Knowledge of Delphi CRM system.
- · Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services

- · Two years’ prior experience in hotel, Sales, or Conference Services.
