Event Supervisor, Operations (Part-time)

The Event Supervisor, Operations is responsible for directing and coordinating the changeover crew during event setups and ice making at the Xfinity Mobile Arena. They log operational requests, enforce policies, maintain building readiness, and communicate instructions in a unionized environment. The role requires flexibility to work nights, weekends, and variable schedules.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates the changeover crew and their activities involved in event setups and ice making.
• Log all incoming radio calls for operational requests.
• Enforce all changeover policies and procedures.
• Take a proactive role in maintaining the building’s readiness for an event.
• Perform building walks and create work orders.
• Communicate detailed instructions, information, and directions to team members in a primarily unionized environment.
• Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
• Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.
• Must be able to lift up to 25lb occasionally.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma / GEDCertifications (if applicable)
