As an Assistant Venue Manager at Sheraton, you will assist in managing a food and beverage venue, ensuring the team delivers service excellence and exceeds guest expectations. You will be the main point of contact for internal and external clients, plan and execute team building activities, and ensure the venue is well-stocked and prepared. Your role involves building relationships with guests to enable future bookings and upholding company policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Be the connecter and facilitator of collective power and assist with managing a venue in the food and beverage department, tending to the guests and exceeding their expectations
- Responsible for managing a food and beverage venue, ensuring the team is providing service excellence through each customer experience
- Be a confident and welcoming leader, creating a community that empowers your team to grow and reach their potential
- Plan and execute team building activities for your team as together we are better
- Ensure the venue is consistently prepared and always stocked through ordering and adequate planning
- Be the main point of contact for all external & internal clients for the Food and Beverage department
- Ensure you and your team uphold all company policies and procedures
- Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new guests through engaging experiences and thoughtful service, enabling future bookings
Requirements
- An up-to-date RSA
- Relevant experience in a managerial role
- Working rights in Australia
