Senior Event Supervisor - The Lake Como EDITION

The Senior Event Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the successful execution of events at The Lake Como EDITION, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while maintaining operational excellence and brand standards. This role serves as the primary on-site point of contact during assigned events, working closely with Event Planning, Sales, Food & Beverage, Culinary, and Operations teams to deliver seamless service and memorable experiences. The role proactively anticipates guest needs, resolves service issues, and ensures all event details are executed according to client expectations and hotel standards. Responsibilities include supervising event operations, coordinating event setups and breakdowns, monitoring service quality, and ensuring compliance with all safety, hygiene, and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Supervising assigned events from pre-function preparation through event completion.
• Coordinating with internal departments to ensure flawless event execution.
• Monitoring event timelines, service standards, and guest satisfaction.
• Assisting with event-related administrative duties, including reporting and documentation.
• Supporting the development and engagement of Event Operations associates through training and ongoing coaching.
• Ensuring compliance with EDITION and Marriott brand standards.
• Responding promptly and professionally to guest requests, questions, and concerns.
• Maintaining a professional appearance and upholding the values and culture of The Lake Como EDITION.

Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 2 years of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Benefits

• Gross Annual Salary: min 33,000 – max 35,000 € (the gross annual salary is calculated on a pro-rata basis when employment covers only part of the year).
• The 13th and 14th month payments are included in the gross annual salary and are accrued on a pro-rata basis, depending on the actual period worked during the year.
