The Live Events Technician assists the Live Events Media Producer in setting up, running, and tearing down audio/video/lighting equipment for live events hosted by the seminary, including admissions, advancement, student group events, and weekly chapels. The role involves operating presentation software, audio mixing boards, lighting equipment, and wireless mics, and coordinating with various departments to ensure smooth events on or off campus.
Responsibilities
- Run audio mixing boards (Yamaha), lighting boards (Vista), presentation software (ProPresenter)
- Setup audio/video equipment in campus spaces.
- Be able to troubleshoot computer/technical problems
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Meticulous attention to details

- Excellent about punctuality and keeping track of multiple events
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Requirements
- Experience running audio equipment
- Willingness to learn
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience recommended, but will train someone who’s willing to learn and dedicate themselves to understanding the complexities of live sound/lighting
