As a Senior Event Manager dedicated to a key pharmaceutical account, you will lead the production and delivery of congresses, meetings, symposia, and brand experiences. You will coach and mentor project managers, partner with the Account Lead to monitor account health, and oversee financials, SLAs, and compliance. Your role focuses on ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client requirements, while driving continuous improvement and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead the production and delivery of congresses, meetings, symposia and brand experiences, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and in line with client requirements
- Coach, mentor and support Project Managers and operational team members, helping develop capabilities and drive delivery excellence across the account
- Partner with the Account Lead to monitor client satisfaction, operational performance, resource allocation and overall account health
- Monitor SLAs, KPIs, compliance requirements and RAID logs, identifying risks, proposing solutions and driving continuous improvement
- Oversee account financials, including budget consolidation, forecasting, reporting and operational performance tracking
- Improve delivery standards, processes, templates, reporting tools and AI-enabled ways of working that increase efficiency and quality
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience within an event agency environment, including significant exposure to pharmaceutical and/or healthcare clients
- Proven experience working on dedicated client accounts with complex governance, compliance and operational requirements
- Strong experience managing event delivery, operational processes, reporting frameworks and team coordination
- Demonstrated expertise in resource planning, utilization management, forecasting and budget oversight
- Advanced knowledge of Cvent and strong proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Excel-based reporting and analysis
- Exceptional stakeholder management, leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence and support teams at all levels
- Fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken (No scrambled oeufs at egg, svp.)
