Als Event Production Technician vertreten Sie die Marke FIRST als eingebettetes Teammitglied bei einem bekannten Technologieunternehmen. Sie sind verantwortlich für die technische Produktion von Events mittlerer Größe, einschließlich Audio/Video, Bühnenbild, Beleuchtung und Design. Sie arbeiten täglich mit internen Teams sowie externen Kunden und Partnern zusammen, um ein nahtloses technisches Erlebnis für alle Teilnehmer zu gewährleisten.

Responsibilities

  • Operate event production equipment including but not limited to Yamaha CL series audio desks, ETC lighting consoles, Ross Carbonite vision switchers, and PTZ camera controller
  • Provide feedback to facility Team Lead on event production equipment usage and efficiency including but not limited to Yamaha CL series audio desks, ETC lighting consoles, Ross Carbonite vision switchers, and PTZ camera controllers
  • Actively liaise with the event production Team Lead to provide feedback and suggestions on possible enhancements and improvements to the space
  • Identify to Team Lead new and alternative ways of approaching FIRST’s technical production offering to clients
  • Manage client expectations on production challenges, proactively providing solutions
  • Coordinate and support building of staging and A/V set up on-site as required
  • Perform day-to-day housekeeping and maintenance of a hi-tech conference venue
  • Provide full event production support including but not limited to forwarding slide decks, video playback, live stream coordination, graphic support, and multi camera operation
  • Basic editing of video footage to provide clients with recordings of their event
  • Coordinate with systems engineers on troubleshooting and incident resolution
  • Provide white glove customer service to clients and stakeholders
  • Perform regularly scheduled system maintenance checks to ensure all A/V equipment is working properly, in collaboration with the engineering team
  • Flex into operating other event production areas as skills and training allows

Requirements

  • Full understanding of audio visual technology and advancements including lighting, audio/video output, and power
  • Proficient in the technical delivery of high-quality events
  • Video output experience with strong technical understanding of associated systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are a must to build and maintain relationships
  • Ability to prioritize while adhering to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience managing day-to-day changes at every level of detail
  • Ability to manage many projects at once with varying levels of production
  • Knowledge of PTZ cameras and controllers
  • Knowledge of livestream/ broadcasting (especially streaming to the internet)
  • Must be fluent in English & German
  • Ability to work onsite
  • This role will be assigned to a primary location but will require flexibility to be deployed to support across the campus as required

Nice to have

  • Experience with Unilumen LED walls and WATCHOUT software is a plus
  • Experience working with the following equipment / tools is helpful: Yamaha CL series audio desks; Adobe Premiere Pro & Creative Cloud Suite; Keynote; Google Workspace; ETC Ion lighting desk; Crestron Control systems, ROSS Carbonite and Ultrix vision systems, Panasonic PTZ camera controllers, Dante Controller, Shure Wireless Workbench, QLab, and Riedel Communication systems.
