The Event Coordinator supports the company's rotating popup restaurant events inside client offices and other workplaces. The role involves being onsite to set up and tear down equipment, clean site areas, coordinate restaurant access to buildings, and ensure a high-quality customer experience. The coordinator troubleshoots issues such as late deliveries, incorrect orders and technical problems with POS systems and TV menu boards, and provides real-time customer service. They also conduct onsite promotions, coach customers on the mobile app, and audit event set-ups for consistency, escalating issues to the manager when needed.
Responsibilities
- Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: 1.) being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure high quality set-up and customer experience, 2.) getting restaurants onsite and access to the building
- Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
- Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late deliveries, late restaurant arrivals, or incorrect email communication
- Troubleshoot technical issues with point-of-sale (POS) system, onsite technology, and TV menu boards
- Conduct onsite Fooda promotions and mobile app coaching
- Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
- Facilitate audits of restaurant event set-up to ensure consistency and high quality
- Escalate issues to Manager when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
Requirements

- You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions
- You are a strong communicator and self-starter
- You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car
- You’re looking for a full time gig during regular business hours
Nice to have
- You are organized and detail oriented. Type-A personality is a plus!
- Prior catering or serving experience strongly preferred
