The Event Coordinator is a client-facing role responsible for delivering a seamless, hospitality-driven food and beverage experience at an assigned location. The role involves supporting Fooda events on-site, including setup, teardown, cleaning, and problem-solving to ensure an exceptional customer experience. The coordinator receives restaurants on-site, delivers food to a satellite office, and provides real-time customer service. This part-time position is dedicated to a client site in South Irvine on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Responsibilities
- Support Fooda events in a variety of capacities, including: being onsite to set-up, tear down, clean equipment and site areas, problem-solve, and ensure an exceptional customer experience each day.
- Receive restaurants on-site each day and deliver ordered food to client's satellite office down the road.
- Gain competency with Fooda’s technology and standard operations procedures
- Problem-solve for issues such as incorrect orders, late restaurant arrivals, incorrect email communication, or technology issues
- Provide real-time onsite customer service to resolve issues promptly directly with the consumer
- Conduct daily audits to ensure high quality service and compliance from our restaurant partners
- Escalate issues to the Client Success Team when necessary to keep them informed or help problem solve
Requirements

- Highly organized, proactive, and take full ownership of your work and environment
- You are savvy with technology and will be comfortable in a fast-paced start-up
- You are resourceful, exhibit grace under pressure, and know you’re capable of finding solutions
- You’re someone who knows the local territory and gets around efficiently in your own car. Must be willing to drive to multiple sites in one day.
