This is a part-time contractor role focused on community engagement for Greater Good Health in Great Falls, MT. The coordinator will build relationships with local insurance agents and community organizations, host community room events at the clinic, and represent GGH at local events. The role emphasizes execution of planned outreach activities rather than strategy design, with support from the Missoula Community Engagement Specialist.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with local insurance agents and community organizations (ancillary providers, senior living communities, etc.) to build awareness of GGH and encourage referrals — through activities like flyering, swag distribution, and face-to-face meetings.
  • Serve as the on-the-ground host for community room events in the clinic, including greeting and signing in attendees, coordinating day-of logistics, and setting up and breaking down events. Planning support is provided by the Missoula Community Engagement Specialist; your role is execution.
  • Represent GGH at select local events (e.g., community fairs, partner events) as directed, acting as an on-site point of contact.
  • Track and report on community engagement activity — number of events hosted, community organizations and insurance agents engaged — to support the broader outreach strategy.
  • Help maintain visibility of GGH within the local community by bringing and setting up promotional materials (tents, banners, tables, chairs) at events.

Requirements

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships and representing GGH in the community.
  • Ability to coordinate events and manage logistics, from setup to breakdown.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to track and analyze outreach efforts to support data-driven decision-making.
  • Comfortable working independently and interacting with various local stakeholders such as healthcare providers, legislators, and community leaders.
  • Ability to work outside of regular office hours, including evenings and weekends, to attend community events.
  • Able to work outdoors
  • Comfortable with physical labor, including the ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Licensed driver and willing to work all over MT
  • Willing to drive your personal vehicle around town (within 15mi of clinic) as part of your responsibilities.
  • Willing to work one weekend day most weekends (with a flexible weekly schedule outside of events)

Nice to have

  • Previous experience in community outreach or event coordination.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare industry or working with senior care facilities.
  • Experience with social media management is a bonus (Facebook or other platforms).
