This is a new, permanent Field Marketing & Events Manager position responsible for owning and executing the organization's trade show, event, and field marketing strategy across New England. The role involves planning and executing trade shows, conferences, corporate/B2B events, customer programs, lunch-and-learns, and association events, while partnering closely with Sales, Business Development, branch leadership, and Marketing. The manager will own the event calendar and manage details from planning through execution, ensuring consistent branding and professional representation throughout the region.
Responsibilities
- Own and maintain the company’s annual event and trade show calendar.
- Research and identify new industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
- Coordinate recurring annual trade shows and association events.
- Manage event logistics, including registrations, venues, booth arrangements, shipping, travel, food, promotional materials, and vendor coordination.
- Coordinate event staffing and on-site execution.
- Ensure consistent branding and professional representation at all events.
- Track event participation, engagement, and opportunities generated.
- Plan and execute customer appreciation events, open houses, networking events, facility tours, and other company-hosted programs.
- Coordinate venues, catering, invitations, registration, presentations, vendors, and event logistics.
- Organize and support lunch-and-learns and educational events.
- Coordinate with internal subject matter experts and Sales teams to ensure events provide value to customers and prospects.
- Manage the event process from initial planning through post-event follow-up.
- Coordinate participation in industry associations, conferences, and networking programs.
- Support events and programs involving Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs) and other industry stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities to increase visibility and strengthen relationships within the communities and industries served.
- Maintain an organized calendar of association and industry activities.
- Serve as a marketing resource for branch offices throughout New England.
- Coordinate branch-level events, customer programs, open houses, sponsorships, and networking activities.
- Support local teams with event branding, logos, signage, promotional materials, and collateral.
- Maintain consistent branding across regional events and branch activities.
- Travel to different offices and events as needed to provide on-site support.
- Partner closely with Sales and Business Development to support customer engagement and business growth.
- Provide sales representatives with event branding, collateral, logos, promotional items, and presentation materials.
- Coordinate customer-facing activities and strategic account events.
- Support post-event lead handoff and follow-up with Sales to maximize business opportunities.
- Ensure event-generated leads and contacts are properly transitioned to the appropriate sales team.
- Maintain inventory of trade show displays, signage, promotional materials, branded merchandise, and event supplies.
- Coordinate the creation and production of print and digital marketing materials as needed.
- Ensure event materials are current, accurate, and consistent with brand standards.
- Coordinate shipping, storage, and transportation of event materials.
- Manage relationships with event venues, caterers, promotional suppliers, trade show vendors, and other partners.
- Coordinate event-related budgets, sponsorships, contracts, and purchases.
- Obtain quotes and coordinate vendor services.
- Ensure events are delivered efficiently and within approved budgets.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in field marketing, event marketing, trade shows, corporate events, marketing coordination, or a related area.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, Hospitality, or a related field preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
- Demonstrated hands-on experience planning and executing trade shows and corporate/B2B events.
- Experience managing event logistics from planning through on-site execution.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple events and deadlines simultaneously.
- Experience coordinating vendors, venues, catering, invitations, promotional materials, and event displays.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, and branch teams.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to independently manage event-related tasks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Salesforce or another CRM is beneficial.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel throughout New England.
