Hope 103.2 - Promotions & Events Casual

This casual role supports the events and community activities of Hope 103.2, a Christian media organisation. The person will assist with handing out merchandise, event setup and pack-down, and engaging with listeners and the community at public events, concerts, and outside broadcasts. They will also handle event materials, drive the promotional vehicle, and follow WHS policies. The role offers occasional casual work in the media industry with the chance to make a real difference.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the setup and pack-down of internal and external events
• Supporting event operations by interacting and engaging with listeners/supporters
• Handling event materials, equipment, and supplies safely and efficiently
• Following workplace health and safety (WHS) policies and procedures
• Driving the Hope promotional vehicle to/from events
• Promotional stock handling
• Variable days and hours on an occasional basis

Requirements

• A genuine passion for the purpose of the organisation
• Demonstration of Hope’s values - Be Humble, Be Real, Be All In
• Valid Drivers Licence and car to travel to/from the station and events as required
• Manual handling ability
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and willingness to help as needed

Nice to have

• Promotions, events or customer service experience (desirable but not essential)
