The LUX Venue Manager leads the premium dine-in cinema experience at a specific venue, driving customer satisfaction while upholding high operational standards. Reporting into the Cinema Operations Team, the role involves leading and inspiring a team, rostering staff, managing performance, and overseeing daily operations to ensure profitability and achievement of KPIs. The manager also oversees events in the LUX Lounge and ensures compliance with HR, WHS, and Risk Management policies. It is a fast-paced, hospitality-led position requiring hands-on leadership and a strong focus on guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Leading by example and delivering excellent customer service
- Rostering staff and managing performance
- Managing daily operations to ensure profitability and achievement of KPIs
- Overseeing events held in the LUX Lounge
- Ensuring compliance with HR, WHS, and Risk Management policies and legislation
- Managing orders, stocktakes, and conflict resolution
Requirements
- Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and peak trading periods
- Excellent communication skills with guests, team members, and stakeholders
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills
- An RSA and knowledge of food safety
- The ability to work independently and stay motivated
Nice to have
- Previous management experience in hospitality (preferred)

Your agreed part-time hours will always be scheduled within your stated availability, and rosters are released each Friday in Australia, for the week commencing the following Thursday.
