We are seeking a forward-thinking Internal Communications & Events Lead to architect, lead, and execute our global internal communications and employee engagement strategy. Reporting to the director of our Central Operations Experience team, you will partner closely to drive Iso's internal narrative, shape cultural direction, and bring to life the unique energy and values that make Iso special. As a people manager, you will bridge the gap between high-level leadership vision and world-class delivery, from advising executive teams on high-stakes messaging to designing multi-channel internal campaigns and overseeing significant company moments like Town Halls and offsites.

Responsibilities

  • Executive Advisory & High-Stakes Messaging: Partner closely with leadership to craft compelling, transparent communications, board/leadership updates, and sensitive change-management messaging.
  • Campaign & Culture Ownership: Design and launch innovative employee engagement initiatives and culture campaigns that celebrate Iso's unique spirit, reinforce our shared values, and foster our interdisciplinary connection.
  • Core Rhythm & Flagship Event Ownership: Oversee the end-to-end strategy, narrative design, and execution of major company moments and events—including major organisational announcements, global Town Halls, and annual company offsites.
  • Channel Architecture & Innovation: Continuously evaluate and revamp internal channels (Slack, microsites, newsletters, company meetings) and pioneer AI experimentation and new tools to modernise how we communicate and engage our employees..
  • Analytics & Insights Pulse: Oversee the internal communications data pulse, measuring engagement metrics, sentiment, and campaign performance to provide actionable insights to leadership to allow us to refine future strategies.
  • People Leadership & Delivery Management: Manage and mentor the Internal Comms & Events Specialist, empowering them to deliver operational excellence while ensuring high-quality output across all deliverables.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable depth of experience, confidence and exceptional judgement when advising leadership and executives, translating complex scientific or technical topics into clear, inspiring narrative frameworks.
  • Exceptional written communication skills, with a track record of crafting creative, engaging content across multiple internal channels to bring company culture to life and keep complex concepts accessible.
  • Extensive experience designing and leading high-profile internal events, Town Halls or large-scale company offsites; creating immersive experiences from concept all the way to evaluation.
  • Experience establishing metrics dashboards to track engagement, alongside a strong curiosity for AI experimentation, modern publishing tools, and multi-channel strategy.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage, coach, and elevate junior team members while remaining hands-on in high-stakes execution.
  • A natural ability to capture and amplify company culture, building authentic programs that foster belonging across interdisciplinary teams from AI and tech, through to drug discovery and operations.

Nice to have

  • Experience working in tech, AI, biotech, life sciences, or a similar complex matrixed organisation.
  • Hands-on experience implementing AI-driven tools into daily communications workflows.
  • An interest in Organisational Psychology, Behavioral Science, or Human Resources, providing a deep understanding of employee motivation, engagement, and team dynamics.
