The Event Specialist is embedded with a client account and acts as a client-facing expert responsible for the end-to-end delivery of meetings and events, with a strong focus on event technology, marketing integration and data-driven insights. The role involves configuring and managing events in Cvent, building event websites, apps and campaigns, and supporting lead generation and reporting through Salesforce. The specialist leads the full event lifecycle — planning, sourcing, execution and post-event reconciliation — across in-person, virtual and hybrid formats, coordinating logistics, vendors and budgets. The position also covers event marketing strategy, performance analysis, client and project management, and governance and compliance, working closely with marketing, sales and global stakeholders in both Spanish and English.
Responsibilities
- · Configure and manage events within Cvent, including complex registration paths, travel, and accommodation modules
- · Build and maintain event websites, mobile apps, email campaigns, and virtual platforms
- · Manage invitation lists, attendee communications, and on-site technologies (e.g., badging, check-in)
- · Serve as a subject matter expert on event technology and support adoption of new tools and features
- · Lead full lifecycle event management: planning, sourcing, execution, and post-event reconciliation
- · Coordinate logistics including venues, hotels, travel, food & beverage, AV, and on-site staffing
- · Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to meet budget and quality expectations
- · Oversee registration, housing blocks, and attendee experience from pre-event through on-site delivery
- · Travel to support onsite execution of high-profile events, conferences, and trade shows
- · Develop and execute event marketing strategies, including branded communications and campaigns
- · Support lead generation efforts and integrate event data into Salesforce
- · Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to align events with pipeline and revenue goals
- · Manage sponsorships, promotional activities, and attendee engagement strategies
- · Analyze event performance data and provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- · Create standard and custom reports using Cvent and Excel

Requirements
- · Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
- · Proven experience in event management, meetings, or conference planning
- · Strong expertise in Cvent (certification preferred)
- · Experience with Salesforce, including lead capture and integration
- · Background in event marketing, branding, and communications
- · Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis
- · Strong project management and organizational skills
- · Ability to manage multiple events and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- · Willingness to travel globally as needed
