The Event Supervisor will support all experience and event requests held within Salesforce Tower Sydney, working closely with Event Coordinators and the REWS event and hospitality team to deliver best in class experiences. The role involves owning event planning aspects, managing logistics, coordinating with multiple departments, vendors, and agencies, and ensuring all events are Salesforce compliant. The supervisor will also manage event intake forms, ticketing queues, and maintain team documents and playbooks.
Responsibilities
- The position is responsible for the operational excellence for the holistic guest experience, including but not limited to executive receptions, partner events, employee events and Salesforce ambiance on the Specialty floors and Employee floors within Salesforce Tower Sydney.
- Strong customer service and executive interaction experience.
- Ability to multitask many events and projects at one time.
- Research and recommend innovative, local catering and entertainment options based on event program and budget.
- Understand the Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistency of Salesforce design standards for all customer facing areas and events including photography guidelines.
- Maintain and update team documents, scripts, canned slack responses and playbooks for REWS.
- Pre, onsite and post event logistic management to ensure REWS adhere to all Health & Safety, Global Safety & Security policies with supporting documents for each event if and when required (i.e. COI, PLI, SWMS, Risk Assessments).
- Co-manage event intake forms, correspondence with Internal Business Partners (IBP) and management of REWS ticketing queue.
- Own assigned event tickets from end to end using the REWS ticketing system and run sheet.
- Google calendar management for internal event spaces within all Specialty floors and Employee floors in Salesforce Sydney Tower
- Co-manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with internal teams to support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute event programs.
- Assist with any reasonable request made by management .
- Availability during evenings, weekends, and after hours is required on an as-needed basis for event execution.
Requirements
- The ideal candidate has event management experience, excel at managing multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrates strong attention to detail in event logistics, and possess the ability to create and adhere to comprehensive timelines and checklists, ensuring smooth execution of live events.
