The Assistant PR & Event Manager leads the development and execution of Boucheron's press strategy to enhance visibility, editorial presence, and brand positioning in the market. The role manages day-to-day media relations, coordinates editorial opportunities, and ensures consistent storytelling across press communications. Working closely with internal teams and external media partners, the role drives impactful press coverage, supports high jewelry and product launches, and contributes to PR events and activations. The role also ensures effective monitoring of media performance and supports reporting to measure the impact of PR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute seasonal press strategies aligned with global communication priorities and local market objectives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key fashion, jewelry, watch, and lifestyle media.
  • Identify and secure high-impact editorial opportunities to maximize media exposure and Media Impact Value (MIV).
  • Close collaboration and management of PR agency to secure editorial placements opportunities and press relations
  • Manage daily magazine shootings and editorial requests, including High Jewelry placements.
  • Coordinate magazine partnerships and editorial tie-ups, including jewelry lookbooks, evaluations, product call-ins, and coverage reporting.
  • Support the development of campaign PR plans (e.g., product launches and key collections).
  • Draft, adapt, and localize press releases, media alerts, and editorial briefs.
  • Coordinate press interviews, media opportunities, and feature placements with relevant stakeholders.
  • Track press coverage, share of voice, and PR performance metrics using tools such as Launchmetrics.
  • Analyze media results and provide insights on editorial performance and competitor activity.
  • Prepare regular reporting including Monthly PR performance reports (in collaboration with agencies)
  • and Press newsletters and editorial updates.
  • Oversee and manage monthly PR expenses and budget tracking.
  • Follow up on invoicing and payment processes through internal systems (e.g., Esker).
  • Support the organization of PR events including venue sourcing, production coordination, and private dinners or press gatherings.
  • Draft and localize press releases and event communication materials.
  • Define media invitation lists and manage press invitations, RSVPs, and interview scheduling.
  • Coordinate press attendance, media flow, and press kit distribution during events.
  • Deliver comprehensive post-event press coverage reports and recaps.

Requirements

  • Degree in Communication, Marketing, or related fields.
  • 8-10 years of solid experience in PR and event management, preferably within luxury, design, or hospitality environments.
  • Strong command of the luxury media ecosystem, with well-established relationships across top-tier editors and key opinion leaders
  • Proven ability to define and execute strategic press plans that deliver measurable results, including high-value editorial placements
  • Hands-on expertise in managing complex editorial workflows, from daily press requests and high jewelry placements to major campaign launches and magazine partnerships
  • Highly structured and detail-driven, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining precision and speed of execution
  • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
