The role is a sales position focused on driving bookings for a wedding and outdoor event venue. The person will handle incoming enquiries, conduct venue tours, prepare proposals and contracts, negotiate packages, and manage the sales pipeline in the CRM. They will also build relationships with wedding planners and vendors, attend bridal shows and networking events, and coordinate handovers of confirmed bookings to the events and operations team. The position exists to meet monthly and seasonal revenue targets and improve conversion rates.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to all incoming wedding and event enquiries by phone, email, and in person
Conduct venue tours and site visits, showcasing outdoor and indoor spaces to prospective clients
Prepare and present tailored proposals, quotations, and contracts
Achieve monthly and seasonal sales targets and revenue goals
Negotiate pricing, packages, and terms within approved guidelines
Maintain an accurate and up-to-date pipeline in the CRM/booking system
Build relationships with wedding planners, vendors, and referral partners
Coordinate handover of confirmed bookings to the events/operations team
Attend bridal shows, open days, and networking events to generate leads
Follow up on lost enquiries and gather feedback to improve conversion rates

Requirements

2+ years of experience in venue sales, hospitality sales, or event sales
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
Strong customer service orientation with a consultative sales approach
Comfortable working evenings and weekends to meet clients and host tours
Experience with CRM software and proposal/contract tools
Valid driver's license (if offsite tours are required)

Knowledge of the wedding and events industry preferred
Diploma/degree in Business, Hospitality, or Marketing preferred
