The Conference Services Manager leads the planning and execution of group events, conferences, and banquets at a resort property. The role serves as the primary point of contact for group and conference clients, coordinating every detail from booking through completion. Working closely with food and beverage, operations, housekeeping and other internal teams, the manager prepares Banquet Event Orders and group resumes, communicates timelines and requirements, and upsells event enhancements such as menus, themed events and additional services. The position also focuses on guest satisfaction, issue resolution and supporting revenue growth through strong client engagement and service excellence.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for group and conference clients
Plan, coordinate, and execute events from booking through completion
Prepare detailed Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) and group resumes
Collaborate with internal departments (F&B, operations, housekeeping, etc.) to ensure seamless execution
Upsell event enhancements including menus, themed events, activities, and additional services
Maintain accurate event details in systems such as Amadeus, Versa, and Sales & Catering platforms
Communicate event timelines and requirements to all stakeholders
Ensure high levels of guest satisfaction and resolve issues as they arise
Support revenue growth through client engagement and service excellence
