The Event Designer (Coordinator) at Seedling & Sage works closely with the Sales Manager to nurture client relationships and ensure seamless event execution. The role involves managing a portfolio of events for key clients, guiding them through the planning process, and executing their vision with precision. Duties include event planning and coordination, collaborating with the culinary team on custom menus, detailing events with clients, conducting site tours, and handling vendor selection. The designer serves as the main point of contact for clients during planning and after events to ensure satisfaction, and also prepares event orders, rental orders, and captain packets.

Responsibilities

Event Planning & Coordination
Collaborating with culinary team to create custom menus
Detail events with clients, site tours, vendor selection
Client Communication- main point of contact for client during the planning process and
after event to ensure satisfaction.
Site visits- visit event sites to assess setup needs, and logistics
Rental check ins
Preparation of event orders, rental orders,
Create captain packets to include banquet event order, floor plans, rentals
Attend industry meetings and networking events
Ceremonies, rehearsals

Requirements

Independent self -starter with “do what it takes” attitude
Passionate for food and events
Proficient in MS Office
Must have reliable transportation and must be on time, no exceptions
Nights, weekends as needed
Ability to lift 30+ pounds Ability to be on feet for extended periods of time

Caterease and Nowsta software knowledge a plus
