PhD & Postdoctoral Virtual Career Event: Associate Clinical Trial Manager - Cardio, Renal, GI, Metabolic - September 10

This is a virtual recruitment event for PhD and postdoctoral candidates in life sciences, focusing on cardiovascular, renal, GI, endocrine, and metabolic areas. The role is an Associate Clinical Trial Manager (aCTM) position within Medpace's global Clinical Operations team. The aCTM will work closely with Project Coordinators and Clinical Trial Managers to perform clinical trial management activities, including communicating on global study activities, ensuring timely delivery of tasks, compiling status reports, interacting with internal teams and sponsors, overseeing regulatory filing and study supplies, creating timelines, and coordinating project meetings. This is an opportunity for recent PhD graduates to transition from academia into the clinical trials industry with intensive training and an accelerated career path.

Responsibilities

• Communicate and collaborate on global study activities; working closely with the project coordinator and clinical trial manager
• Ensure timely delivery of recurrent tasks consistently with a high degree of accuracy
• Compile and maintain project-specific status reports within the clinical trial management system
• Interact with the internal project team, Sponsor, study sites, and third-party vendors
• Provide oversight and quality control of our internal regulatory filing system
• Provide oversight and management of study supplies
• Create and maintain project timelines
• Coordinate project meetings and produce quality minutes

Requirements

• PhD in Life Sciences area is required; upcoming PhD graduates or Postdocs are welcome to apply!
• A background in one of our key therapeutic focus areas: Cardiovascular, Renal / Nephrology, GI/Gastrointestinal/Gastroenterology, Endocrine, or Metabolic;
• Fluency in English with solid presentation skills; and
• Ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic industry
