The Group Events Assistant provides pivotal support to the Group Events team with the execution of game night functions before, during, and after all home games. This seasonal part-time role involves staffing the Group Zone and Redemption Zone booths, assisting with group ticket promotions and redemptions, and interacting with fans to provide excellent customer service. The assistant also supports office initiatives and promotions as needed, working flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

Assist with the fulfillment of all Group Events fan experiences at Timberwolves home games.
Staff the Group Zone and Redemption Zone booths at Timberwolves home games.
Assist with implementation of single-game group ticket promotions and redemptions.
Interact with fans, field questions, and provide excellent customer service.
Support initiatives & promotions in the office as needed.
Perform and strengthen other duties as they are assigned.

Requirements

Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
Computer skills required: experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).
Ability to manage specific tasks in the department under supervision.
Ability to work well on a team and independently.
Able to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays

Nice to have

Experience: Previous customer service or sales experience is preferred.
