The role is an Event Sales & Marketing Agent (Coordinator Marketing OPC) focused on generating sales presentations and vacation package sales for guests attending events and off-site locations such as shopping malls and airports. The person in this position welcomes and greets guests, anticipates and addresses their needs, and ensures that all guests meet eligibility requirements for sales presentations or vacation package purchases. They work to exceed budgeted sales presentation and volume production goals while maintaining the highest level of service and adhering to company policies and safety procedures. The role involves interacting professionally with colleagues and guests, contributing to team goals, and working various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
Responsibilities
- Schedule sales presentations or offer specially priced vacation packages to guests attending an event and at off-site locations such as shopping malls and airports
- Provide the highest level of service to exceed budgeted sales presentations and volume production goals.
- Ensure that all guests who attend a sales presentation or purchase a vacation package meet eligibility requirements and are open to learning more about products and services.
- Welcome and greet guests; anticipate and address their needs.
- Interact with colleagues and guests professionally and promptly.
- Contribute to team goals.
- Always follow company policies and safety procedures.
Requirements
- Successful candidates will be highly motivated with sales or customer service experience and enjoy interacting with guests either in person or by phone.
- Available to work various shifts, holidays, and weekends.
- Position may require background and drug screening, in accordance with state and local requirements.
- Reach overhead and below the knees, perform bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping, and be able to stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time.
