The Associate Event Producer plans and executes ongoing and repeat marketing events, charitable contributions, store tours, PR efforts, and marketing research, while managing circular and premium processes. The role involves owning the prize give-away process, budget, and direct customer contact, and relaying event information internally and externally. The position supports circular shops, internet statistics, and competitor reports, and aligns event activities with departmental and company strategic goals. The schedule is hybrid based on business needs, with evenings and weekends required as needed.
Responsibilities
- Plan From concept to implementation, assist in planning marketing events
- Manage Own the prize give-away process, budget and direct customer contact
- Communicate Relay event information both internally and externally
- Assist in conducting circular shops, internet statistics, and competitor reports
- Strategize Direct event activities to be in line with the strategic goals of the department and company
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising, related field or equivalent experience
- 2 years of sales, marketing, advertising, or public relations experience in a retail environment
- Valid driver’s license and ongoing acceptable driving record
- Ability to work night, weekend and/or early morning hours based on business needs
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Software Applications
- Excellent Proofreading skills
- Detail oriented
- Pre-employment screening includes, but isn’t limited to, criminal background check
Nice to have
- Knowledge of local market (e.g. competitors, charities, etc.) preferred
- Experience with promotions and event coordination preferred
- Internet skills preferred
