Assignments, call times, and staffing levels are determined by the event calendar, expected attendance, and event-specific operating plan. Team members are scheduled as needed and are expected to deliver a professional, helpful experience on every shift.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome guests, answer general event and venue questions, and provide clear directions to entrances, seating areas, restrooms, food and beverage locations, activity areas, exits, and other amenities.
  • Assist with ticket-taking, guest check-in, wristbanding, scanning, queue management, and entry procedures as assigned.
  • Support parking and pedestrian flow by directing guests safely and courteously in designated areas; communicate questions, congestion, or safety concerns to the Event Manager, security, or parking lead.
  • Help maintain orderly guest movement before, during, and after events, including line management, wayfinding, and accessible-route support.
  • Assist with setup, reset, and breakdown of event spaces, including tables, chairs, linens, signage, stanchions, guest-service stations, equipment, and supplies, in accordance with event diagrams and supervisor direction.
  • Provide food and beverage service when assigned, including buffet support, passed items, table service, beverage replenishment, bussing, and guest assistance, following established service standards. Some roles may be assigned to bar/beverage service, based on team member skills/experience and event demand.
  • Maintain a clean, stocked, and guest-ready facility throughout the event, including pickup of litter, bussing, restocking service areas, monitoring restrooms and public spaces, and reporting cleaning or maintenance needs.
  • Transport light supplies, equipment, and service items to and from designated storage, staging, and service areas as directed.
  • Arrive at the designated call time in proper uniform, ready to complete assigned pre-event duties and remain through required post-event breakdown when scheduled.
  • Follow instructions from the Event Manager, Event Captain, General Manager, or designated shift lead and remain flexible as assignments change during an event.
  • Work collaboratively with operations, food and beverage, security, parking, maintenance, and event partners to support smooth event execution.
  • Communicate guest concerns, incidents, lost-and-found items, facility issues, or service problems promptly to a supervisor.
  • Follow company policies, event-specific procedures, venue rules, emergency-response protocols, and all applicable safety, sanitation, and responsible alcohol-service standards.
  • Report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, or security concerns immediately to a supervisor.
  • Perform other duties as required.

  • Ability to communicate clearly and courteously with guests, coworkers, and supervisors.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions, use basic event tools or ticket-scanning equipment after training, and complete simple incident or shift documentation when required.
  • Basic math ability for ticketing, cash-handling, or event-service assignments after training.
  • Friendly, calm, and service-oriented approach in a busy public environment.
