Special Events Assistant 2-Part-time

This part-time role involves delivering and picking up traffic control equipment before, during, and after special events on the Columbus campus. The assistant will assist with the function of the equipment, such as starting and refueling light towers, and troubleshooting issues. They will communicate with the event supervisor via radio and handle additional equipment requests. Additional miscellaneous duties are assigned as needed.

Responsibilities

• Administration and Planning | TTM Campus Area Bus-JMDeliver and pick up traffic control equipment before, during, and after special events on the Columbus campus. Traffic control equipment examples are, but are not limited to, traffic cones, barricades, signage (A-frames), light towers, and electronic message boards.
• Assist with the function of the traffic control equipment, such as starting and shutting of the light towers as needed, refueling light towers as needed, or trouble shooting equipment issues.
• Communicate with event supervisor via radio during entirety of the event; answer calls requesting additional equipment requests. Report additional equipment deliveries to TTM supervisor.
