The Event Operations Team Lead oversees weekend youth sports photography events throughout South Carolina and surrounding states. This role combines leadership, sales management, customer engagement, and event execution in a fast-paced outdoor environment. The leader is on-site, managing event staff, ensuring smooth operations, maintaining a high-energy customer experience, and driving sales performance throughout the weekend.

Responsibilities

Lead weekend event operations from setup through breakdown
Supervise and support a team of 2–6 event staff members
Coach employees on customer engagement and sales techniques
Monitor team performance and help drive event revenue goals
Interact directly with parents, athletes, and coaches
Resolve customer concerns and operational challenges as they arise
Coordinate event logistics, equipment, and workflow
Oversee photography stations, printing operations, and order fulfillment
Ensure a positive experience for customers and team members
Complete weekly planning and event preparation activities

Requirements

Previous experience as a team lead, supervisor, manager, assistant manager, coach, educator, program leader, or similar leadership role
Ability to lead teams in fast-paced environments
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Solid technical aptitude
Weekend availability (Friday–Sunday)
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Comfortable driving a company vehicle
Ability to work outdoors and remain active throughout the day
Willingness to travel regularly throughout the region
