FT Banquet Server (55987)

The Banquet Server provides prompt, accurate, professional, and friendly food and beverage setup and conference services to hotel and conference guests. They maintain service standards, assist servers and bartenders, check banquet areas for proper setup and cleanliness, and ensure guest satisfaction throughout meal service. The role involves handling multiple guests efficiently, following checklists, and performing basic cleaning tasks as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain service standards
• Assists servers, bartenders, and setups in daily operations
• Assists in maintaining food/beverage, linen, and dry goods inventories to par levels
• Checks banquet area before, during, and after event for proper set and cleanliness
• Follows established checklists for opening and closing duties
• Greets all guests in a courteous and professional manner
• Handles multiple guests efficiently
• Ensures all BEO's are followed and serviced in a timely manner
• Follows all appropriate regulations for food service, safety & sanitation, MSDS, TIPS (alcohol service)
• Displays excellent communication/organizational skills and proven ability to work under high pressure
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• Prepare tables, action stations, buffets, service carts and cordial carts
• Replenish buffet items to ensure consistency and freshness in presentation
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service
• Respond to guest requests in a friendly, timely, and efficient manner
• Performing basic cleaning tasks as needed or directed by supervisor
• Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of assigned station and service areas
• If no upcoming events, please have rooms in a readiness position for any possible site inspections
• Assist others with side work including, but not limited to cleaning, stocking, folding silverware, etc.
• Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
