We are seeking a skilled AV Technician for Stockholm Waterfront Congress Centre. The role involves ensuring all technical equipment is properly prepared and set up in conference areas, servicing and maintaining AV equipment, participating in the planning and execution of conferences and events, and leading and coordinating with hired freelance technicians. The technician will report to the AV Managers and must have a strong service mindset, putting the guest first.

Responsibilities

Ensure all technical equipment is properly prepared and set up in conference areas.
Service and maintenance of all AV equipment.
Participate in the planning and execution of conferences and events.
Lead and coordinate with hired freelance technicians.

Requirements

We require experience within AV technology, including:
Audio.
Lighting.
Video.
IT.
Great emphasis is placed on being:

Professional.
As an AV Technician, you should quickly understand clients' needs and wishes and be able to provide the best technical solution for each event organizer. The successful candidate should be self-motivated, responsible, and proactive. A positive "Yes I Can" service attitude is essential.
You must have excellent knowledge of both English and Swedish, spoken and written.

Nice to have

Experience with:
IT.
Power consumption planning, for example in exhibition environments.
Rigging and safety, including truss systems and chain hoists.
Live sound, lighting, or video technician work.
Installation of audio, lighting, video, and/or network solutions.
OptoCore, Q-Sys, Crestron, Dante, ACN, or AMX systems, which are used within the congress center.
