As Conference Producer, you'll develop world-class conference programmes across internationally recognised events including the World Hydrogen Summit, Hydrogen Americas and The London Book Fair. You'll research emerging trends, build relationships with influential speakers and stakeholders, and create compelling agendas that attract senior audiences and drive commercial success. The role offers high autonomy and visibility within a global events company.

Responsibilities

  • Develop content strategies and conference plans using customer insight, needs, and behaviours.
  • Produce high-quality, research-based conference agendas and event formats that meet the needs of different audience segments.
  • Identify, secure, and manage high-profile speakers from leading organisations.
  • Collaborate with sponsors and their customers to deliver practitioner-focused presentations that support exhibitor and visitor objectives.
  • Work with marketing teams to support visitor acquisition activity and contribute to content marketing initiatives including videos, polls, interviews, and blogs.
  • Partner with sales teams to identify sponsorship opportunities, support client meetings, and develop new revenue-generating products and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders, associations, vendors, practitioners, and internal teams.
  • Manage event timelines, analyse performance data and feedback, oversee conference administration, and support onsite event delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience producing commercially successful B2B conferences, ideally within sectors such as energy, publishing, technology or professional services.
  • Experience in researching new markets and delivering top-level programmes to tight deadlines
  • Excellent organisation and multi-tasking skills
  • Collaborative, proactive and confident working across multiple stakeholders and functions.
  • A good understanding of IT and technical research
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong creative thinking – recommending new and improved conference structures or models
  • Excellent business acumen – demonstrating a desire to create new revenue streams and recommending new conference models
