As the leader of BCB London, you will define and deliver the long-term growth strategy for one of the industry's most prominent events. You will combine commercial leadership, market insight, and customer focus to strengthen BCB London's position in the drinks and hospitality sector while driving sustainable growth and innovation across the event portfolio.

Responsibilities

  • Own the strategic direction and long-term development of BCB London, establishing a clear and differentiated position within the UK and international drinks and hospitality market.
  • Take full accountability for the event P&L, including revenue growth, contribution, budgeting, forecasting, pricing and investment decisions.
  • Develop and deliver an ambitious event strategy informed by customer insight, market trends, competitive intelligence and commercial opportunity.
  • Build BCB London into an indispensable industry platform, delivering measurable value for exhibitors, sponsors and visitors.
  • Develop strong relationships across the drinks and hospitality ecosystem, including brands, distributors, operators, retailers, hotel groups, associations and industry leaders.
  • Continuously evolve the exhibitor and commercial proposition, identifying growth opportunities across drinks, hospitality technology, equipment, services and other relevant adjacent markets.
  • Develop new revenue opportunities across exhibition space, sponsorship, activations, partnerships, content and digital propositions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing cross-functional team while acting as a visible ambassador for BCB London and collaborating with the wider international BCB network.

Requirements

  • Significant leadership experience within exhibitions, hospitality, drinks, FMCG, media or another relevant B2B commercial environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience of P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, pricing and revenue growth.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute growth strategies for events, products, brands or commercially driven communities.
  • A genuine interest in and strong understanding of the drinks, bar and hospitality industry.
  • Strong understanding of B2B customer value, including what drives acquisition, retention and ROI for exhibitors and sponsors.
  • Experience developing audience strategies focused on attracting high-value buyers, decision-makers and commercially relevant visitors.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of identifying new commercial propositions, revenue streams and market opportunities.
  • Strong customer and analytical focus, with the ability to use research, behavioural, commercial and financial data to inform decisions.
