The Regional Assistant Events Manager supports the Asia Pacific region by planning, developing and executing Timepieces, Dance and Cultural events, aligning headquarters directions with local market proposals to maximize communications and retail objectives. Reporting to the Senior Regional PR & Events Manager, the role monitors event performance, prepares post-event reports and maintains an up-to-date regional event calendar. It also involves internal communications with markets and headquarters, sharing best practices and quarterly event reporting, as well as close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure a consistent 360-degree approach across the region.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the strategic planning, development, and flawless execution of all Timepieces, Dance, and Cultural related events for the APA region, ensuring efficiency in time, quality, and budget, while developing comprehensive action plans and evaluating budgets with markets for alignment.
  • Monitor and analyze event performance, gathering data and preparing post-event reports to provide constructive feedback to HQ and local markets proactively, driving continuous improvement and uncompromising quality in outcomes.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the APA markets' landscape, including competitive activities and industry trends, to identify opportunities aligned with the Maison strategy and keep events innovative and impactful.
  • Foster close collaboration with HQ and local market event teams, providing strategic insights and event frameworks to ensure consistent and qualitative experiences for clients and press across the region, and arrange hospitality services for traveling guests for international and regional Timepieces, Dance and Cultural events.
  • Conduct regular meetings with markets to align daily priorities to the Maison strategy and to ensure markets and HQ have access to the latest events information.
  • Manage monthly updates of the event calendar and share with HQ and markets to maintain full regional visibility.
  • Share best practices from other regions with APA markets on a quarterly basis and compile the quarterly Event report for the Marcom Newsletter.
  • Liaise with different teams for event planning to ensure a comprehensive 360-degree approach, and arrange monthly meetings with HQ & APA markets to maintain close alignment.
  • Demonstrate a challenging partnership with HQ and markets to drive mutual growth and success, while maintaining a deep understanding of the culture and values of each market and the Maison, upholding a positive team spirit and leading by example.

Requirements

  • You have solid professional experience in luxury event management, with a passion for creating exceptional event experiences and a strategic mindset. You possess strong problem-solving, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, allowing you to seamlessly align and collaborate with diverse regional partners. You are fluent in spoken and written English and Chinese (both Cantonese and Mandarin), and having previous regional role experience is a plus.
