The Conference Services Manager is responsible for planning and executing meetings, parties and other gatherings at the hotel, acting as a natural salesperson and luxury events professional. The role focuses on developing creative ways to maximize profit and achieve set revenue goals while supporting the financial, business and marketing objectives for events. The person in this position leads by example, energizing staff and collaborating on each new project to deliver events that leave guests in awe of their surroundings. It sits within the Catering & Events team of a luxury hotel brand management company.

Requirements

Passionate about hospitality and food & beverage with a minimum of 4 years of similar work experience.
An expert in Catering & Events, a strong leader, natural salesperson and a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance.
Excels at communication, both verbal and written.
Flexible and willing to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays

Nice to have

A post-secondary diploma or degree would be a plus.
