The Marketing & Events Coordinator at SPA Australia will lead the coordination and delivery of corporate events, sponsorships, conferences, tradeshows, and networking functions, while also supporting communications, content, and marketing initiatives. Reporting to the Group Manager – Communications & Marketing, this hands-on role involves managing event logistics, assisting with marketing campaigns, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting internal communications. The position offers exposure to a broad range of marketing disciplines within a professional services context, with mentorship and development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead coordination and delivery of corporate events, sponsorships, conferences, tradeshows, networking functions and industry exhibitions
  • Manage event logistics including venues, registrations, suppliers, speakers, catering, signage, event materials, budgets and runsheets
  • Manage timelines, suppliers, and support end-to-end events and marketing project delivery to ensure activity is delivered on time
  • Assist in delivering marketing campaigns from brief through to execution across digital and traditional channels
  • Help maintain brand consistency and support creation of marketing collateral and content
  • Lead implementation across marketing email and content management systems
  • Support social media, website updates, and digital content calendar
  • Draft, edit, and proofread internal and external communications and materials
  • Internal communications management and development of training materials, guidelines and instructions
  • Coordinate logistics for events, sponsorships and tradeshows
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, practice leads, and external partners
  • Support reporting on events and communications performance

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Communications, Design or a related field
  • 3+ years’ experience in events, communications or marketing
  • Strong writing and communication skills – clear, concise, and professional across different formats and audiences
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Familiarity with digital platforms including social media, email marketing tools, or website CMS
  • Candidates must be eligible to apply for an Australian Clearance

Nice to have

  • Experience with, or a strong interest in design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva
  • Exposure to professional services, consulting, or government- facing organisations
  • Experience with platforms such as LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Pardot, or similar marketing automation tools
