The Events Supervisor oversees event staff to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently, delegating tasks and confirming that all equipment is on-site and properly placed to guide customers. The role involves training staff on standard operating procedures, monitoring parking lots and employee posts, handling cash during select events, and moving parking equipment such as cones, barricades and signs. It supports the company's parking and transportation operations across a wide portfolio of locations, including events, hospitality and municipalities.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee event employees and ensure tasks and locations are delegated.
  • Ensure that event staff under your supervision understand all SOPs pertaining to their duties and provide refresher training as necessary.
  • Handle and safeguard cash before, during, and after select events, as required.
  • Understand all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs) for event supervisors, cashiers, and parkers.
  • Drop, move, and pick up parking equipment (cones, barricades, signs, etc.), as required.
  • Monitor parking lots and employee posts to ensure proper operations.
  • Clock in, clock out event employees.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be able to make decisions independently and stay firm on decisions made (not easily persuaded)

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions while standing for long periods of time

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have 2+ years supervisory experience
