As the Special Events Manager, you will manage all incoming leads via Open Table, telephone, email and other channels, and assist with managing event software. You will close deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needs, manage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group events, and seek out new sales opportunities and partnerships. You will build guest loyalty, book repeat business, and communicate with the service team all event details, partnering with the General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure each event is flawlessly executed. You will book small to large events, prioritize tasks efficiently, and work on-site to build a solid team atmosphere.

Responsibilities

Book small to large events and able to prioritize tasks efficiently
Works on-site to build a solid team atmosphere

Requirements

Have 3+ years of experience in a high volume events environment
Restaurant or similar experience preferred
Strong oral and written communication skills
Catering/event software experience
Able to work flexible, sometimes long hours
Excellent customer service
