The Director of Restaurant & Event Operations leads the food and beverage team at Hotel Zachary, overseeing the lobby bar and banquet/event operations. This role drives service excellence, operational efficiency, and financial performance, partnering with culinary and hotel leadership to deliver innovative dining experiences and flawless events. The director also recruits, coaches, and develops high-performing teams while managing budgets and ensuring compliance with brand standards.

Responsibilities

Lead the daily operations of the lobby bar and banquet/event teams.
Drive exceptional guest satisfaction through elevated service standards.
Partner with culinary leadership to enhance food and beverage offerings and event execution.
Recruit, coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
Manage labor, revenue, expenses, and departmental budgets to achieve financial goals.
Analyze operational and financial performance to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with hotel leadership to create memorable programming and unique guest experiences.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
4+ years of progressive food & beverage leadership experience, preferably within hotels or lifestyle hospitality.
Proven experience leading restaurant and banquet/event operations.
Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze data and develop operational strategies.
