Event Sales Manager - The Cottonwood Hotel

As an Event Sales Manager at The Cottonwood Hotel, you will drive revenue growth by securing weddings, social events, and group business. You will showcase the hotel's venues and services, build relationships with clients and partners, conduct site tours and negotiations, and represent the hotel at industry events. The role focuses on achieving sales goals and delivering exceptional client experiences.

Responsibilities

• Generate new business and grow existing accounts
• Build relationships with wedding planners, corporate clients, event professionals, and travel partners
• Conduct site tours, sales presentations, and contract negotiations
• Achieve and exceed sales goals for weddings, meetings, and events
• Represent the hotel at networking events, trade shows, and industry functions
• Partner with marketing and operations teams to deliver exceptional client experiences

Requirements

• Proven sales experience, preferably in hospitality, events, or hotels
• Strong communication, networking, and negotiation skills
• A motivated, results-driven mindset
• Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
• Proven track record of success in sales, preferably in the hospitality industry
• Strong negotiation and closing skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients

• Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies
• Familiarity with CRM software and sales analytics tools
